The Greifswald-based festival Nordischer Klang is the biggest annual cross-genre festival in Germany dedicated specifically to Scandinavian and Nordic music, art and literature. 
This visual identity is the proposal for 2021 Nordischer Klang design contest.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The aim was to create a visual identity that would capture the main characteristics of Finland (as it was the chosen destination for the 2021 festival) and also of the music.​​​​​​​
Therefore, the logo consists of 3 main parts; 
Reference to Finland: the imagotype, it reflects the nature, forests and lakes of Finland in a composition similar to that of a snowflake for its cold winters.
Reference to the music: 5 horizontal lines in reference to the pentagram
Naming of the festival: given by the organization "Nordischer Klang das fest des nordens"
